Press Release: Kwaw Kese Officially Introduces “Kwaw Kese Foundation”
Ghanaian Hiplife star; Kwaw Kese has officially introduced his foundation dubbed “Kwaw Kese Foundation” which is aimed at supporting the Ghana Prisons and making life for the inmates a bit comfortable. Since Kwaw Kese got back from prison, he has shown so much concern about the living conditions in the prisons and vowed to do all he can to support the inmates with whatever he can lay his hands on.
Few days after he was released on bail, he donated some items on the 14th of February to the Kumasi Central prisons where he was kept for allegedly smoking substances suspected to be Marijuana. Things he donated includes Rice, other food stuffs, mattresses, bathroom slippers and some other things he knew the prisoners lacked. The King Of The Street; who is also known as Yakubu in recent times, kept to his promise of helping his brothers and sisters who are in the prisons. In the press release, Kwaw Kese said, and I quote…
The prisons of Ghana are not a place for people to be there, my time there has really transformed me and made me a better person in Society.
Due to this, I will not sit down for my dear brothers and sisters to go through these hardship. I will use my talent to solicit for funding to embark on projects to help change the perception of Ghana prisons and also educate the youth on drug related issues.
It is by this we officially introduce the KWAW KESE FOUNDATION which is born to create an impact on Ghana. KWAW KESE FOUNDATION will organize a press conference soon to underline its 20 years development goals to help the Ghana prisons and also the youth of Ghana.
