Listen: Koo Ntakra – Twa Di (Featuring Mr. Bergs)

Koo Ntakra out with 'Twa Di' featuring Mr. Bergs and happens to be his first single for 2018. Song produced by Mens Beatz, mixed and mastered by Qhola Beatz.

Koo Ntakra has finally broken his silence with this new music he titled ‘Twa Di’ featuring Mr. Bergs, produced by Mens Beatz and mastered by Qhola Beatz. This marks the beginning of Koo Ntakra’s music year for 2018 and definitely a way to start what he has coming this year.

The young and vibrant Akuapem Rapper left lots of unforgettable footprints throughout 2017 and he has earned or won the ears of most music lovers in Ghana if not all. He released his Album dubbed “KOK” late last year and since then, hasn’t released anything till now. He went on tours across the country and made enviable appearances on some songs as well. I think by now, most people know what the young man has been up to.

The song ‘Twa Di’ which literally means “Plug and Eat” as in plug a fruit from the tree and eat it might actually bring up a long debate. With the Twi Language, there is always a different meaning to some words of phrases because of its “phonetics”, it gets to sound like “something else”. Makes me wonder who actually came up with the Twi language… Or should I blame the new generation for trying to fix meanings to every word or phrase?

Well, as much as I believe Koo Ntakra and Mr. Bergs meant no harm nor wanted to raise adult curiosity in their lyrics, a lot of music listeners will hear this the way it sounds. I won’t judge anyone who thinks this song has secret adult codes in them because, I thought same too when I listened the first time.

I think Koo Ntakra is about to spark a debate with this song and I’ll be waiting¬†to read or hear them. What a way to start a musical year? And this is just the beginning! Check out the song below and feel free to share your views.
