Kweku Darlington Causes Controversy With ‘King My Foot’
Rapper/Singer Kweku Darlington of Legacy Empire has released a controversial song he titled 'King My Foot' produced by Tubhani Muzik.
I have this new song from an artiste known as Kweku Darlington and he calls it ‘King My Foot’ produced by Tubhani Muzik. Before I go into details, he clearly stated that, the only King he knows is Otumfour Osei Tutu II (King of the Ashanti Kingdom) and this song is about a rapper in Kumasi (Ashanti Region of Ghana) claiming he’s King over others.
I don’t know if most people have noticed that most rappers originating from Kumasi have released thought-provoking songs with complex lyrics directed at a particular rapper in Kumasi or a group of rappers in Kumasi? The key words are mostly, “Greedy” and “Non-supportive”… Apparently, people thought I am behind most of these songs (Which is very ridiculous) but the truth is, these young artistes trust my support for the region and know I’m not bias when it comes to this.
According to Kweku Darlington, the self-acclaimed rap king never support the younger ones and always want to feed on the little they (The young ones) are bringing up. He made it clear that, any rapper who thinks he’s King over them, is a total joke. He acknowledged some rappers in Kumasi and left some out.
Darlington has been with Legacy Empire for about a year now and has released “Freemind” 1 and 2 already. He has songs with artistes like Amerado, Kwame Baah, Phrimpong and some few known names in Kumasi. This is what he feels going wrong in Kumasi music. Listen to song below and please share your decent thoughts in the comment box.
