Famous TV show known as ‘Delay Show’ hosted by her highness, Deloris Frimpong Manso a.k.a Delay had Ghana’s very own SM Militants and they had a lot to talk about. The SM Militants formed under the Shatta Movement headed by Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale. SM Militants is made up of Joint 77, Addi Self and Captan.
The all narrated how they met Shatta Wale and became family. Addi Self said that, he met him when he was on his way to buy a ticket for a show Shatta Wale was hosting. That is how he had contact with him and eventually got accepted under the SM umbrella.
Joint77 also said he met Shatta Wale way back in a studio around Dansoman (A suburb of Accra – Ghana) and that was when he released his first hit song “Moko Hoo“. They have been in touch from then and now he’s become part of the Militants officially!
Captan did say Shatta Wale has always been an inspiration to him and when he (Shatta Wale) was staying at Nima, he’ll see him and always shout his name and tell him how he inspires him in many ways. He finally got in touch with Shatta Wale’s personal assistant known as Blade and through him he became part of the family and has learned a lot.
They also spoke about making money, what their expectations was about their first hit song “Taking Over”, their loyalty, where they live and how life was before and after joining the SM Militants. Watch the interview below and listening to some of the rib-cracking things they said.
