‘Pen N Paper’ Concert; The Birth Of The New Era Of Hip-Hop
Ko-Jo Cue and Shaker unveiled the most anticipated and most talked about Hip-Hop project dubbed 'Pen N Paper' on Saturday 21 October, 2017.
It all started with a single titled ‘Pen N Paper‘ and Ko-Jo Cue together with Shaker (Both signed to BBnZ Live) decided to do a joint Hip-Hop project to elaborate on what they want to get fixed in the Hip-Hop world in Ghana. The Loud Sound GH crew had a private listening session and we all got blown away!
21st October is a day to mark the birth of the new Hip-Hop era in Ghana. It was a night to snap us out of the suppressed hip-hop culture and a “hypnotized” music industry especially with the Hip-Hop genre. From our observation, we realized that, there are a lot of things that happened on that stage which we’ve so missed watching!
For sure, they rehearsed their performances thoroughly and left no loophole to cause just a single dull moment. This is what we have missed for some time now and we’re impressed the “Leaders of The New School” opened our eyes to that sector of entertainment; Performing Arts.
It was all fun, entertaining and a day Hip-Hop in Ghana became alive again! Great performances from all supporting artistes such as Kidi, B4Bonah, Kuame Eugene, Darko Vibes, Magnom, Cina Soul, Pappy Kojo, Kwesi Arthur and few others…
Electrifying performances which gives us hope for a brighter Hip-Hop future in Ghana. Watch the opening performance below and keep your eyes here for all performances on the show! The ‘Pen and Paper’ album is available on Aftown.com
