Ennwai formerly of Dobble fame, jabs at his old music partner; Paa Kwasi
Ennwai in a series of Facebook posts called his former music partner known as Paa Kwasi, a greedy and selfish person.
Last Saturday, April 8 2017, the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held at the Accra International Conference Centre and saw host of celebrities and the public witnessing the big event. Many artistes were awarded and the audience enjoyed great performances by some of them as well.
The defunct music group Dobble, made up of Ennwai and Paa Kwasi won an award for the “Most Popular song of the year” with their song “Christy”. Ennwai wasn’t present at the event; but Paa Kwasi received the award for the defunct group. The strange moment was when Paa Kwasi gave the acceptance speech without acknowledging his former partner.
Radio host, Entrepreneur and entertainment Critic popularly known as SammyFlex was on stage with Paa Kwasi and reminded him to acknowledge Ennwai which he did even though he was just about to exit the stage. Music lovers did not find that appropriate and gave Paa Kwasi the usual social media “Bashment”.
In a series of Facebook posts made by Ennwai revealed that, his absence at the awards night was because Paa Kwasi claimed he hadn’t gone for the tickets for the show. He also revealed the group collapsed because Paa Kwasi accused him (Ennwai) of using “Juju” or Black Magic; and that was when Paa Kwasi started working on songs secretly and planning on how to break the news about his lost of interest in the Group “thingy”. Below are some of the posts made by Ennwai.
