YAD – Gospel Freestyle (RNS Cover)
YAD is the first gospel rapper to jump on Sarkodie’s “RNS” cover and he calls this ‘Gospel Freestyle’ mixed by Two Bars GH.
I’m surprised YAD could be bold enough to jump on a cover like this to do something related to God or to do something “Holy”. This song talks more about Jesus, decorated with some verses from the bible and how he is applying that to his life. According to him, he is highly favoured and blessed because of his faith in Jesus Christ.
YAD is a writer, composer, rap and a spoken word artiste… When we asked him why he wanted to do Gospel rap, he told us that “I believe in positivity even though I am not perfect and I see it this way that if we are worth dying for then Jesus Christ is worth living for. That reason has compelled me to stick to gospel or positive music. Thus, in as much as we are humans, we one way or the other get tempted, influenced, backslide or perhaps fall.”
“Even at times live pressures compel us to think that all hope is lost and that we don’t have anybody to turn to; this is where a gospel or positive song sets in, not to condemn but to keep you in that safe place to rise up on to your feet. This is my intention and perspective when it comes to my life and music.” He ended… Download free music below and keep your eyes here for more music from him.
