Da Hammer of the Last 2 Music Group has released the much anticipated single off his album titled “The Last Of A Dying Breed”… This new single is titled ‘Repercussions’ featuring Kwaw Kese, Worlasi and Reggie Rockstone with supporting vocals by Hammer’s Daughter.

Listening to the previous release titled “4 Decades” and this new one, it feels like the legend (Da Hammer) is about to take us into the deep side of Hiplife. ‘Repercussions‘ touched on a delicate issue and took us to the back-door to see what really happens even though the front-end may look amusing and entertaining.

Kwaw Kese‘s rap lines were centered on the Manifest and Sarkodie lyrical war… As a foot soldier of the “Last 2” he had to stand in and “Discipline” both artistes and literally cooling the heat between them. Worlasi, who has been endorsed by Da Hammer himself as one of the most talented young kings of Ghana music, rather “pleaded” with Sarkodie and Manifest to look back and see how their actions affect those who look up to them.

Reggie Rockstone on the other hand, spoke about Hiplife and said Da Hammer is the sound of Hiplife. He said this to debunk claims that hiplife has no sound… This can’t be debated because, Hammer re-defined Hiplife and his sounds brings out the true feeling of the genre. He is and will always be an iconic figure in the Ghanaian music realm.

Da Hammer hinted in an interview on LIVE Fm with KOD that, the full album will be released early 2017 and we should expect something bigger than the “Execution Diary“, “Sounds of Our Time“, and “Lost Files“… Explaining the title of the album “The Last of a Dying Breed“, he said it actually means he is one of the few left among the dying breed (Hiplife)… Download and listen to the song below. Don’t forget to share…
