Video: Shatta Wale Talks About Sallah Fest, Criss Waddle and More

About a week ago, a short video was posted on Viasat1 TV’s official Instagram timeline which was an excerpt of an interview with Dancehall “Champion” Shatta Wale on the “Delay Show” hosted by Deloris Frimpong Manso.

The short video quickly went viral because of utterances made by Shatta Wale. These were considered as hot button issues, which some of us feared may spark or renew a dormant feud. The first question thrown at Shatta Wale was why he wanted to host a show on the day the popular “Sallah Fest” hosted by the legendary music group VVIP was taking place, and at a venue close to the theirs even though he knew it is a tradition for the people of Nima?

His answer was that, his fans requested for the show but after he saw Prodigal‘s (Member of VVIP) post on Instagram and other threats coming in, he decided to cancel the event. And the biggest reason was that, he is running a Peace Campaign for the upcoming elections and it will only be reasonable he sets a good example. He further said VVIP claims they are doing this to help the community which wasn’t true.

On Criss Waddle‘s issue, he affirmed that, the AMG Business CEO is gay even though he has no evidence or proof. He said it is obvious and its no secret on the streets. If he had known he was gay, he wouldn’t have done a song with him because he doesn’t make friends with gays. Meanwhile, lots of people have debunked this allegation and called it a “weak” attack on Criss Waddle.

He also spoke about his former manager Bulldog, reacted to Ex Doe’s warning to him and explained why he will forever be on his “grind”, his plans to quit music in the next 4 years, and the controversial fake “ADIDAS” stunt. Check out the full interview below and you may leave your comments.
