Ticles – Godly King (Kaba & West Riddim)
Hiplife artist; Ticles, happens to be the first artist to jump on the ‘Kaba & West Riddim’ produced by Danny Beatz. He calls his version ‘Godly King’ and as expected, shots were fired!
Apparently, Ticles is addressing issues concerning the on-going lyrical wars which involved Kings, gods, Bars, Non Believers among many other titles. We can’t fully confirm who Ticles was throwing shots at; but we have every reason to believe some of them may be to those holding the above mentioned titles… Some of the lines “coincidentally” aligns with some of the lyrics in some of the songs playing major roles in the whole “Beef” saga.
Ticles said “Rap, we be the forces… What be your point if your coin is in my pockets; forget your tosses… we own the city… You no go fit deport us” then he went on to say “Challe your point is pointless… Your maturity be childish“… I am not trying to create any controversy here; but If you listen to Sarkodie‘s “BOSSY” he said something like “But the POINT is, Using too much punches in your rap makes you CHILDISH“…
These and other lines makes me believe the single is inspired by the ongoing beef since the riddim was inspire by the same topic. Ticles has been in the scene for a while and has been constantly addressing issues like this and more in his songs. The last time I checked, he was on radio explaining a post he made on Facebook in regards to Sarkodie and Ace Hood‘s collaboration. That was a huge discussion; and I have the feeling that, this will be boiling up as well. Please listen to the song and leave your comments.
