Kaakie – Sankwas (Ft. Guru) Prod by JMJ
I won’t beat around the bush… Looks like Kaakie has began a new dancehall war among her female colleagues in a new song she calls ‘SANKWAS’ featuring rap artist; Guru and produced by JMJ.
The word ‘SANKWAS’ is a street word which simply means “Inferior” or “Useless” if I can say that… Kaakie made utterances which sounded like some other female dancehall artists are trying to be her and at the same time, hating on her progress. How many known female dancehall artists do we have in Ghana? Lets see… MzVee, Sheege Styla, Abrewa Nana, AK Songstress and… Well I guess thats all…
She made mention of some of these artists struggling so hard trying to be like her which lead them to grow skinny. I am hoping you are not asking me to mention names of those who are slim or look skinny… But I want a clarification here… Did any female dancehall artist ever fired shots at Kaakie we don’t know about? I am hoping we did not not miss any of those.
Kaakie is a name one can’t skip when dancehall artists are being mentioned; and that can be confirmed by the awards she has earned and platforms she has been seen on, and not forgetting some of her hit songs Ghanaians have been partying with for a long time. I won’t draw conclusions here; but, any release which will look like a reply to this song will make me give you the whole run-down. Check this out and leave your comments.
