Kaakie Acknowledges AK Songstress as Real Dancehall Artist
Extra Large Music’s female dancehall artist and Nurse; Grace Ocansey, popularly known in the showbiz circles as Kaakie has acknowledged Paradise Entertainment’s AK Songstress as a REAL Dancehall Artist.
After Kaakie released her new song titled “Sankwas“, there have been a hot debate among music lovers, bloggers, fans and music critics… I am a major contributor to these debates and as at now, I still hold on to my judgment on the song… Kaakie decided to bounce back into the music scene with something most people considered as a diss song—But looks like she landed with a wrong timing!
It was a bit difficult to trace where her strings led to; but she made some obvious utterances that made most of us draw conclusions about who the purported “Diss” song was addressing. There were some few confusing verses in the hook which I believe brought most people’s attention to the song. If that was a stunt, good for her… But if it wasn’t she better buckle up and join the queue…
Kaakie, who was on Hitz FM on the 22nd of July 2016 to promote the controversial single, told Dr Pounds (The Host Of The Show) that, apart from herself, AK Songstress is the only female artist who does real dancehall. She added that, even though there are others who do the dancehall art, AK Songstress will always stand for real dancehall and not switch to sing other music genres.
But reports says Kaakie initially pretended not to know any female dancehall artist in Ghana when she was asked to mention some of them…We haven’t heard any official reply to Kaakie yet; but heard rumors that, some of the Female dancehall artists have sent her some few words. We are yet to dig in and bring you the aftermath of “SANKWAS”…
