I have rated Slim Khala as one of the fastest growing rappers in the country; and today, he has surprised me with a great deal of creativity! He calls this new record ‘Mmmm?’ which was produced by Denswag.
‘Mmmm’ is simply an exclamation which is mostly used by Ghanaians. It is used to affirm a news or to question something unusual or shocking. In this context, that is how Slim Khala used both. I did enjoy listening to this song more; even though I like most of his songs and salute his talent. This had a wonderful touch of humour which I know people would love!
Slim Khala decided to free his mind on this record. (Sought of the thinking-aloud thing) He threw jabs, questions, opinions, and more in this song. Topics includes Two Thoozin, Shatta Wale and Criss Waddle, Kwaw Kese and Kanye West, EL, President Mahama, his colleagues, producers and more… In this song, he confirmed he is no more with The Mic Burnerz Record label.
After every line or verse, the ‘Hmmm’ comes in-between and it’s said in a way that makes it more funny and will make you get the true picture behind it if you are a true Ghanaian… This is creative and a must listen! Download and share…
