Musician cum music producer; Sean V is back again with another thought-provoking record he titled ‘Ghana Toli‘ which he produced himself. I bet the Ghanaian youth can relate to this!
Sean V seems to serve as a mediator between the youth (Voiceless) and the government on this song. The creativity displayed on this song is rather deeper than something we may consider as humour. That voice at the background will stand for the average Ghanaian.
Sean V respectfully addressed the current views of most of the Ghanaian youths. Anger, feeling neglected, deceit and disappointment seem to be the main theme for this song. It got controversial at some point but I believe we are not strangers to such utterances.
Aside the “Eye-Brow-raising” concept, Sean V opened a chapter in his rap which I have never heard before. For the first time, he merged Fante Rap, Pijin slang and the usual queen’s language easily. One thing I will ask of you is that, pay attention to the lyrics…
