Almost everyday, we discover new talents emerging into the Ghanaian music scene. Each of these talents have their own unique gifts and the roles they intend to play in the music scene.
Today, I want you to get familiar with a new talented singing sensation who goes by the name Kary Jay. The first thing you would admire about him is his smooth voice that finds it’s way to the softest part of your heart through your ears.
Kary Jay is a little introverted and slightly extroverted; thus the mixture of both, but loves hanging around with his family and friends. These personal attributes are hardly noticed in his voice or lyrics.
He does urban gospel music, and it all started at the age of 7 when he was part of an accapella group in Junior High School at God’s Grace International. They called themselves “The Peacemakers”; and the group was made up of himself, Jay Shady and Eric Oko Dodoo.
At the age of 15, he got admitted at the St. Peter’s High School, where he joined the school choir and recorded a couple of demos as well. After school, he did not throw his passion for music in the back-pack, but kept it as a “first hand” passion.
He then got to work with talented producers like Fizzlebeatz and the talented producer cum musician; Danny Beatz. Kary Jay wants to use his God given talent to touch and change souls around the world, give joy to the downhearted, hope to the hopeless and peace to the worried through the singing of Gospel.
His new single which he calls “I See Heaven” is a beautiful song that talks about the joy in meeting our maker one day. The excellent piece was produced by Danny Beatz. Kary Jay is about to unleash angels with his powerful voice! Listen to the new single below and keep your eyes open for whats coming…
