Opinion: Sarkodie Had Too Much Priority In ‘Koko Sakora’ Video

I watched Dr. Cryme‘s “Koko Sakora” music video again few days ago and I released something which I personally find “Uncool”… (Maybe Its just me) We all know Sark getting on your song will mean it is a potential hit. This is because of how he is steering the music scene to his lane…

We expected “Koko Sakora” to become a viral hit ( I think it is… Or I dey Lie?) and somehow, people love it and I am loving it too! The video was released on a “Sark Busy Day” so people actually started talking about the video 3 days after its release.

Now back to my “Personal” problem about the music video… I think Dr. Cryme gave Sarkodie too much priority in the music video. It almost looked like Sarkodie owns the song. For example, the Club/Party scene; Sarkodie was standing/sitting in the middle of Dr. Cryme and Mix Masta Garzy even though Dr. Cryme was the one rapping at that scene.

D. Cryme should be in the MIDDLE!!! It only makes sense that way but the main focus was on SarkodieDr. Cryme had some single scenes which he performed with some “Macho Guys” and others. Those wasn’t bad and I expected to see more of them.

The part that we all refused to talk about is when Sarkodie had to rap! OMG! The whole thing switched to some “Donald Trumpish” thingy. Playing golf at night at a place the looked like a private property. AH! “I don Tink Far la!” The song talks about chasing girls, clubbing or partying and all the fun that comes with it.

I don’t know if I should blame Dr. Cryme or the director of that video. Sarkodie was given more than enough priority in that video and its not even healthy for Dr. Cryme‘s image. Looking at Sark’s facial expressions, he wasn’t even happy about it. Now I said it and I’m free… Your comments and opinions should make exclusive appearance in the comment box below.
