Pictures: Kwaw Kese ‘Forever’ Album Launch at West Hills Mall
Kwaw Kese’s sixth studio album ‘Forever’ was launched yesterday (12-03-16) at the West Hills Mall. The album is dedicated to his late manager Fennec Okyere.
In an earlier interview, he disclosed that he named the album ‘Forever’ because he believes the legacy of Fennec, who was his friend and manager for a long time, will live forever.
“The album is the biggest album to come out of Ghana for a long time. It’s historic. I chose ‘Forever’ because I feel we have been in the game for a long time and that means we are not quitting. Also, the album is dedicated to my late manager, Fennec Okyere which means Fennec’s legacy will live forever”.
The album was produced by Ball J who embedded his creativity on five of the songs, US-based Coptic took care of three great records on the Forever album as well as Nature, Skonti, Hammer, Pee On Da Beat, JMJ and Fortune Dane.
The album signing session was graced by a fair audience including support from industry friends DJ Breezy, Ball J, Larry Lizzard, Tony Pun amongst others.
The event cemented his status as the King of the streets forever in the music game. With brief performances from Buda, AJ Nelson, Dem Tinz and comedian Ajeezay, the environs were ready to meet the ‘Dimus – Man No Dey Hear’ hitmaker himself.
He performed some of his hit songs and the realest beat maker/artist Ball J joined him to crown the performance with their much-aired record “Mr. Lover”.
The 20 track “Forever” album featured great minds across the African continent and it includes Obrafour, Teephlow, 9ice, Agbeko, Kesse, Sarkodie, Brymo from Nigeria, Ike Wonder, E.L, Joey B, Ball J, Stonebwoy, Skonti and Black Prophet.
