See Artists Who are Throwing Jabs At Charter House #VGMAs

Its not surprising to see artists throwing Jabs at Charter House; who are the official organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) sponsored by telecommunication giant, Vodafone.

Every year, artists constantly show their displeasure and concerns on award nominations and also, how they are disrespected or not valued as well branded artists who literally are the reason why the award scheme still exist. This year hasn’t been different from other years since we saw more rants on social media from artists, music lovers, bloggers and observers as well.

The Twi Pop General; Dr Cryme threw jabs at Charter House saying he wont settle for less. He also said Charter House doesn’t know how to build fan base and it’s the artist who graces the show before they get people (Fans) to attend. I can’t tell if part of his post was fighting for Shatta Wale… Check out the full post below…

The next artist we saw a post from is Akuapem rapper/Radio host; Pope Skinny. He said its not right that a Nigerian could be given so much power to control our national music awards. He thinks its not normal and something must be done about it. Check his full post below…

The next artist we spotted is Guru. His rant was more like a threat in my opinion and it sounds like he got something very controversial to let out… Guru’s message was basically warning Charter House and telling them they shouldn’t let him “CHANGE”… Check out the full post below…

Next on the rant list is CEO extraordinaire! You know when I say this, I am talking about the owner of Arab Money Gang (AMG) and a souljah of R2Bees; Criss Waddle… His message was simple. He said because he spoke the truth, he had no nominations. Well, I believe that could be the reason too. Check out his post below…

To end it all, Ghanaian music blogger known as Fiifi Adinkra has also shared his concern about a nomination which he thinks will be the case of rewarding the wrong producer for something he did not really produce. His rant related to the song “Yewo Krom” which had multiple slots in the nominations. Check out his post below…
