Mensa & Pappy Kojo — Gidigidi (Prod by Juls)
Im beginning to feel the Fante groove more and more this season and I think that is because the rappers are giving a new and refreshing approach to songs made in the Fante dialect. Mensa and Pappy Kojo drops a classic which is also thought provoking, titled “Gidigidi” which is local term used to describe someone in a haste or extra anxious to do something. Its most times associated with the negative kind of haste or anxiety.
“Gidigidi” talks about how the Government disappoints but acts very effectively and hastily when its time to “promise” the people especially during election periods. I believe most Ghanaians can relate to the story told by these great artists and also understand the concept it comes with. This is what the youth needs right now to get our leaders on their feet. This classic was produced by Juls.
