Today’s throw back music is not really with good memories… Ghanaian Hiplife artist; Okyeame Kojo Kumi who rose to fame after his collaboration with Hiplife legend Obrafour on the track “Twen Wo Ho” is unfortunately no more. News came out last week about his death but the cause of his sudden death was not clear to us. We decided to ask close sources and know what exactly went on; and for real, Okyeame Kojo Kumi is dead and gone. Today’s throwback music is to celebrate his contribution to Hiplife music even though we all forgot about him in recent times.
According to trusted sources, Okyeame Kojo Kumi had to go under brain surgery 6 months ago due to some unusual complications. It was said that he kept loosing his memory and that virtually affected his health in general; resulting in him growing very lean and weak. After the first surgery, things were a bit okay until one morning (which was just a week ago) things got to its worse form once again. Unfortunately, the rapper could not hold on this time, and he gave up on surviving. Okyeame Kojo Kumi is currently at the Mampong Mortuary awaiting funeral arrangements and burial. May his soul rest in peace! If you cant remember who he is, this song might help you remember…
