Lord Rich was born in Ghana (West Africa) but spent most of his childhood days in Nigeria and Gabon. At the age of 8, he has already began wowing people with his cute little singing talent. He would sing songs from his favourite artists and also had the talent of playing the traditional talking drum… The “Talking Drum” is a special drum set in the Ghanaian community used to send messages to the masses and also used to hail and welcome the king to a public gatherings. The inter-schools competitions never get complete until Lord Rich entertains people by singing songs from his favourite music artists.
Lord Rich grew up listening legendary Ghanaian High-Life artists like Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba even though he did not live in Ghana for a longer period. As time went one, he decided to test his talent in the studio; and that happened to be the first time he did digital recording. This was in 1999 in Gabon, and since then he decided to share his talent and messages to the whole world with so much passion. He then started appearing on stages and doing what he does best! He performed on a lot stages in Gabon, performed in South Africa with the “Akroma” Band, performed twice at the “Kente” show held in Holland and also at the “Africa Day” celebration in Belgium.

He did confess to us that, this is his best moment of his life and the only regrets is his parents not being alive to see where he is now and what he is up to. Lord Rich said even though African music is well appreciated in Belgium and across Europe, he is still hoping to leave footprints back home in Ghana and show the world he did not forget his roots at any point in time. His music mostly talks about Love, Life, and words of encouragement which is targeted at both the young and old audience.
He also does music in other languages like French and the Nigerian Yuroba language apart from the English and Twi lyrics found in most of his songs. He currently has lots of songs to his credit but preparing his first 9 songs which will have some singles coming out of it real soon. Music videos will follow up after a couple of releases. His biggest promise to the world is; his album will be released soon and the world will enjoy something they have been missing for a long time!
These are his words to his fans and family… “Please good people let’s show some love to make the world a better place… I want to thank God almighty; may his name be praised!
