Dada Hafco Signs A Record Deal With a U.S. Based Entertainment Company

Terry Asare Boamah, popularly known in showbiz circles as Dada Hafco, the former member of the Mframa group, has recently signed a juicy record deal with Multiple Codes Inc, a gaming and entertainment company based in San Francisco, California.

The Mensesa and Vroom Vroom hit maker who was formally on Airtime Records, signed this deal with Multiple Codes Inc. some months ago. This new contract would cover Recording, Promotion, PR and Marketing of records in addition to a management contract.

Speaking to Kwesi Buabeng (Beebe), one of the management members of Multiple Codes Inc, he said Multiple Codes’ mission is to identify good talent across Africa, work with them to market their records in the mainstream entertainment markets in Africa, US and Europe. He said “We intend to leverage our expertise and contacts in Hollywood (Los Angeles), Las Vegas, New York and other cities in EU to help put Africa on the entertainment map of the world”.

Mel Kwesi Davis (Krachie Kwesi) the General Manager and A&R of Multiple Codes Inc. in Ghana also said, Dada Hafco is the first act that the company has identified in Ghana and will soon outdoor his works to his fans in Africa and beyond.

We understand Dada Hafco is readying to release his new single titled Ma’yentena under his new record label and also his first video as a solo artiste.. This single which was produced by Appietus and featured Castro De Destroyer is said to be one of the best highlife jams to be released this year. The video to this song was directed by award winning video director Stanley Adjetey for Take Two Films and the video and song would be released on the same day in this month of May 2014.

Our sources tell us that the video had special appearances by Annabel Mbaru (Kenya Rep. 2013 BBA-The Chase) and Naana Kwakye of Radio Gold and Montie FM fame.

Speaking with Dada Hafco about the deal, he indicated that he is very excited and he is looking forward to a lot of good things happening this year. He also promised his fans that he has a lot of good music for them so they should keep supporting the movement. When asked why he seem to have moved from rap to singing and now to writing highlife tunes, he said “variety is the spice of life” and that he has not forgotten his rap and will do something in that line soon.

Krachie Kwesi also indicated that in the near future, Multiple Codes would recruit other talents they have identified into its fold.
