#TBT Classic: Nana Fynn “Odo Handkerchief”
This is a classic most of us seem to forget about! Nana Fynn released “Odo Handkerchief” somewhere around 2001 (When I completed Senior Secondary School… LOL) and has been a massive hit through that period… He released his first album titled “Akwansema” in 2000 followed by “Odo Handkerchief” and later released “Dokodoko” around 2003, followed by “Romeo” in 2005… In 2008, he released “Twe Wo Ho” and that I think was the last time I heard something from Nana Fynn…
This song is one of my favorites and even though i did not know much about LOVE those days, the song just makes you feel the love in the air… Nana Fynn always got that “Egyptian” look because of his head scarf or turban, or whatever you may call it. I dont know why he chose that, but I know he likes to read books about human and black history and religious books like bible and theology.
He featured a ragga artiste on the song, but unfortunately, I dont remember his name and there was no success getting his name. Great tune and I would want you to take a listen and save it in your archives for you generations to take a listen. With the trend of music we have now, I wonder what kind of music we will be listening to in some years to come… Download mp3 below and enjoy some good music!
