Shatta Wale “State Burial” (25th December 2013) (Samini Diss)
“My fans come to Dance… Because They want to dance” that is the opening statement in this new music from Shatta Wale he calls “State Burial” (25th December 2013) which is inspired by the recent “Loud In GH” hosted by YFM inside Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
I think anytime Samini and Shatta Wale gets on the same show, the whole idea about entertainment is lost and it rather becomes a competition as to who got more fans than the other. The focus on their music and performances is not really put into consideration since each and every one out there made up their mind about who they are supporting or down with. Well, we did hear from sources most people left the stadium after Shatta Wale finished his numerous performances… I guess he could stay on stage the whole night just making his fans get it all out of him… But my little problem is, what is the point when we try to put dancehall lovers into groups as if its a political party? I personally think this will hinder the growth of Dancehall in Ghana.
Shatta Wale mentioned on several interviews that, what he is doing is waaay different from what Samini does… So I keep asking myself why do we keep comparing the two if they dont do the same thing?… Yes ofcourse, it all boils down to “Who Got More Fans Than The Other”… Anyways… enjoy mp3 below and witness the state burial Shatta Wale gave Samini… Your comments are welcome!
