Tintin holds press conferenceFrederick Mensah known in showbiz circles as Tintin held a press conference in Wadoma Royale, Kumasi to address issues.

In attendance of the press conference were media houses in Kumasi and the general public. He addressed house on some serious issues in Ghana such as tribal politics, education and music.

About the tribal politics, he asked; “is every Asante man for NPP and every Ewe man for NDC? He told Ghanaians to unite and also asked Ghanaians to stop the tribal politics. He asked Ghanaians to love one another as unity is only way to move the country forward.

Also on education, he told parents to stop choosing careers for their wards; he said ‘ every parent wants his or her ward to go to school but no parent wants his or her ward to be a teacher. He encouraged parents to allow their children to purse course of the choice so as to bring the best in them.

On music, he talked about ‘payola’ and how it is killing upcoming artiste. He urged DJs to support new acts, as they would eventually take over from the old folks and project the music industry to the rest of the world. He said, “ ‘Payola’ has made a lot of upcoming artiste ‘died out’ because they can’t afford to pay every DJ that plays their songs.”
He told the people gathered to watch out for his gospel song promised to go on tour with this message.
