Project Chang3 is a grassroots initiative created to identify and proffer solution to the issues and challenges facing youths in the grassroots communities by raising public awareness, stimulating individual responsibility, mobilizing societal support and other noble means.

The main purpose of the Project Chang3 initiative will be realized in its first phase at the first ever seminar aptly themed “Hip-hop is knowledge … turning nothing to something” scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 1st 2013 at the Agege sport center located at Amoo Street, Sofunde B/stop Pen-cinema Agege, Lagos.

The event will feature career, entrepreneurship and leadership sessions and lectures by ace TV presenter SAY of gamedUP, Jonah D Monarch of City FM, Jude Ujagbo of Zulu nation Nigeria, Motiv8 Churchill and the Project Chang3 coordinator, Tile Folahan. There will also be free medical tests, vocational service fair, a review of Jimi Tewe’s book, ‘Free From Corporate Slavery’ and the launch of Project Build a Library (PBL) among other up-building activities.

Also, as the theme suggests, Hip-hop will be effectively used during the course of the seminar. Experienced hip-hop artistes, DJs, spoken word artistes, B-boy groups, skater boys, MCs, graffiti artistes will be on ground to perform live

Expect breathe-taking performances by Base1, Butafly, Yung Soss, Sossick, Zee, Magnito, Drew, Lyrical Shock,, Nanya O, Maximum, Mcircle, Rapmania Tha X, Uprizn, Tega, DJ Mekzy, DJ Blackbeatz, DJ Treasure and Hakeem Picasso even as some of the youths present will be privileged to showcase their skills in the presence of industry pros such as DJ Humility, DJ Boombastik, K-show, DJ Mekzy, JAJ da Meccadon, DJ OZ, Terry Tha Rapman among others.

Hip-hop is knowledge is supported by Tile Clothingz and Lagos state government of youths, sports and social development.
