Top 10 Cover Arts On LoudSoundGH For March…

61

Cover arts play a very important role in music promo but its most times ignored when it reaches the listeners. To me, I see cover art as a way of knowing or having an Idea what the music is really about. If its about love, comedy, religion, politics, etc…

We have decided to give credits to some of the good cover arts we get on our website; to encourage more artist to create cover arts that is more related to their contents…

Klu and Mr Eazi – OHEMAA: Ohemaa means ”Queen” in the Akan language. This cover got a beautiful African lady wearing a very colorful African print dress. I guess you can see the Queen in the cover immediately you see it… Very simple cover art and it tells the story of Ohemaa…

Bebelino – FRESH: The one who did this cover art must gone deep in imagination! Its just a perfect way to put freshness into an art… Well, take a look and tell me if you dont see freshness… It relates a lot with the title of the track… This is one fresh cover art!

ID Ft. AJ Omo Alajah – FAITH: This is another cover art that makes a lot of sense to me. Faith is almost like coming out of the dark and and holding on the brighter part of life. Both artists looks high spirited and looking up to a bigger and bright day… I think this cover got a good connection with the title FAITH…

Smallzie and Granula – Good,  Bad: This music talks about being good and being bad… When you take a closer look at the cover art, you will realize there are some hidden characters. Good written in white and Bad in Red. It makes a lot of sense after listening to the music itself. This is another creative and deep cover art.

Dj FrenchKiss – AZONTO AINT DEAD: This is a party mix but for some reasons, you dont see a club scene with people dancing around. What you see is an abandoned factory with sun rays trying to penetrate through… I see the rays as LIFE and the abandoned factory as ”Azonto” No matter how people try to neglect it, there is still some life in there…. I think this art makes a lot of sense about Azonto Aint Dead!

Dj Tomisin – Afro JukeBox: I love this art because when Dj Tomisin said this mix was an Afro Jukebox, he really made that understood in the art. It does explain the title as well and got great connection with the title… Jukebox were used soo many years ago; and I thinks the Black and White is just the right choice of color shade to use…

Dj Bibini – Made In Ghana Mixtape: I had to take a closer at this art to see the bigger picture hidden behind the text. You will see a castle and a loose tape from a cassette. The castle is something that has been in our history books, on our currencies, etc… To me, the castle is one thing we can all identify as a historical mark in Ghana. So when its made in Ghana, it makes sense to see the castle in the background and loose cassette tape on the fore background… Deep cover art…

Okizona – JACKPOT: What more can I say about this cover? It makes absolute sense and says exactly what the title says… Nice and catchy art i must say… Its very appealing to the eye…

Ball J – TOGO BIKINI: When I saw this art, i knew the song was gonna be funny… well, i was not wrong about that! Ball J talks about taking the girls to the beach and stressed he does not want any of them wearing ”Togo Bikini” I dont know how a TOGO BIKINI looks like but I think the cover art should put you in that mood even before downloading the track… Nice cartoon cover there!

Eyirap, Dein, Yayra, Lila – GIRLZ DORM CYPHER: Despite the hard bars these girls spitted on the cypher, they managed to keep the cover art more ”Girlish”… The color choices and the text fonts… I guess everything is just perfect the way it is. And you see them with sweet poses at the background… But dont let those smiles fool you… These girls are sick rappers!!!
