TEEKAY out with MUCH LOVE
Lagos State Born Ondo Rapper, Kehinde Gbenga Fadojutimi a.k.a Teekay is the last of a family of eight consisting of six males and two females.
A Graduate of Chemistry from the University of Lagos Class of 2009, he was a contender in the eighth edition of the Gulder Ultimate Search (GUSVIII) 2011. “Teekay” as he is now called culled his name since 2010 upon the untimely demise of his twin brother, Taye Lawrence Oluwole Fadojutimi (Tee as he was fondly referred). The resultant effect was d birth of TEEKAY: Two Souls, One body.
Tee died on the 26th of March 2010 of Cancer. The Cancer had reached the advanced stages of metastasis prior to detection as he was erroneously diagnosed with Kidney Stones. Teekay did this song, “MUCH LOVE”, as tribute to that part of him which he holds very dear, his brother.
Teekay bares his heart and soul as a symbol of the pain the joys, laughter and above all love and memory that binds them still. The song is largely unfinished, yet he chooses to have it so released on this day the 26th of March 2013 which commemorates the third year anniversary of Tee’s passing to the land of the Saints. Teekay demonstrates his versatility and communicates in words rooted in deep love.
