Stino Prepares To Drop A New Single…
Rapid rising star Stino was born in Accra, Ghana and left the country at a very tender age to join his dad and step mother in Germany but the whole family moved to UK shortly after his arrival.
His birth name is Isaac Codjoe and lives with his family in london. Stino joined a gospel accapella group at age 10 and started playing guitar at the age of 14. He owned his own guitar shortly after his dad realised his interest and bought him one.
Stino’s interest in music began to develop and he was spotted at different places performing. At weddings, church, school concerts etc. Before “azonto for me” his first single, Stino met his current PA & PM B Bernnie and she introduced him to the Mix-Masta himself. Since then, everything else fell in their right perspective.
He released his first single “Azonto for me” with the help of some childhood friends styleeb (Maurice) and Murka (Emmanuel) and this single marked the beginning of stardom for the young man Stino. The hype around “azonto for me” escalated to a level no one expected therefore he started performing about 2 weeks after the song was release. He performed at the Vibe lounge bar in bradford, he also performed at alabar in tottenham along with styleeb. He made an appearance at the official Ghana independence party at Vibe lounge along with some F2D affiliated members, weray Ents, Tribal Mags and Vibe squad. He also appeared on ramxtra radio where he gained more exposure.
Azonto for me instrumental was produced by Alberto but it was mixed by The youngest best sound engineer Mix-Masta Garzy (CEO of 2MG Music). Mix-Masta Garzy to Stino is like the pioneer to his success and their relationship as a sound engineer and an artist has grown stronger over a very short time.
Stino has a new single coming out soon called “Zalango lady”. Zalango lady is his own word for a gold digger and he came up with this concept as he was walking home from studio one night. He went back and re-recorded the piece that came to him.
He has also had a collabo with UK funky house/afrobeat superstar Mista Silva and this is yet to be released to the public.
His music has been influenced both Ghanaian style and Nigerian style due to the large amount of nigerian friends he has. This makes Stino a very versatile artist in the afrobeat genre. He writes his own songs, sing very well. To add to all the ablove, stino has a very unique flow when he raps.
