UPCLOSE WITH SEYIRAM GH (@RealSeyiramGh)

71

His real name is Eyram Abeiku Adjomah From Which his Stage Name ‘Seyiram Gh’ Is Derived… This young rapper was born in North Kaneshie, a suburb of Accra. He had his basic education at St. Monica’s Preparatory school which is located in North Kaneshie. He then continued to KNUST JHS after his family was transferred from Accra to Kumasi… Seyiram is still in school and in his final year in high school… He attends Kumasi Anglican Senior High school. ”And a very good school though” he said with seriousness…

When we asked about his early life, this is what he had to say ”Hmmm… Life hasn’t been easy though… Well I grew up as a young creative kid who always tried to work something new out.” Just like most artists we interviewed, he is also the shy type. He is the only male child in the family… ”Besides, I’m an in-betweener (second born) he said with laughter… He confessed to us he used to run out the house to play with his friends when they lived at C.M.B. Flats with his parents. But that has helped him a lot because he was able to learn a lot of things from them. At the age of 12, he discovered his God given talent and started to make good use of it.

Eyram is a the TV type of kid just like many other kids… ”I would sit behind the set watching cartoons or music… But I developed a great Love for music… It was something pleasant to listen to” He added…
He grew so much interest in hiplife and listened to a bit of Gospel, Hip hop. RnB and blues gto keep the equation balanced… He realized he could do music when at the age of 12, he could recite the lyrics of his favorite tunes. He said he was not influenced by any particular artist but was influenced by his own cousin ”Adjomah Xorse Joshua” ‘He has played a great role in my life’ he added. He continued by saying his cousin usually go out and come back with an Album CD and tell him his assignment was to listen to them.
The Volta Regime Album by Edem is his all time favorite and his favorite track on the Album is ”You Dey Craze”… That was a song he really got related to even though he did not understand the Ewe language… ”And I still dont… My Bad” he added.
Chicago of ”Davi Medekuku” fame inspired him back in those days but looks like Edem became his all time favorite! ”I see the future of GH music with him” He said…

He had his major underground recognition through the song ”Im not jokin” Ryan Leslie – Glory Cover. He gained a couple of good complements on that track… LoudsoundGH will make that song available for download so this young man can still pack up some more compliments. LOL…

When we as the artists he featured, he began with a laugh… Probably we took his mind back to his genesis… He then went on saying he featured SCASTY on his first song and did a couple of featured songs after… He did not mention song he featured though… He also featured in Magnom’s Get There featuring Lil Shaker…

SeyiramGH wants a major recognition in the music industry in some few years to come; and also wants to see himself on major platforms… He was crowned ”Rap King” in his school and would write that in his achievement book… But described it as funny and laughed out whiles saying it…

He is currently undergoing a rebranding from Blaq Street to SeyiramGH because he claimed ”Blaq Street” was not understood with ease… He explained the ”Blaq” represented Africa and ”Street” represented the hustle… To make it easier to be understood, we could just call him ”Africa Hustle”… But he wanted to change it because he feels it sounds too Exotic. He then went in for a local name that everybody could relate to and understand what he really stands for. So he chose ”SEYIRAP GH” which means blessings. ”I’m Seyiram Gh… Im blessings GH” he ending with a pretty huge laugh… lol

To end it all, he had a couple of people he wants to say some shouts to and thank them for being part of his dream since day one. ”Yeah First Of All I Wanna Give A Big ShoutOuts To @Efoxorsejoshua He’s Been A Part Of Me Since. And Yeah ShoutOuts To Edem(VRMG),Kay-Ara,Barima Pages,Blurr,St.Riya,Ajomoalajah,Robby,Kelvin Jay And Another Big One To Loudsoundgh.com,Thanks For The Support Fam.” he ended…

Watchout for this kid… He is gonna bless Ghana with his talent and he needs your support…
